24th Oct 2009 - Carob Treasure found under a carob tree next to Pyramid Rock. They are very ripe and will make the best carob molasses ever! This carob nectar is an excellent mix with some schnapps, mixed with milk or as a sweet drink. |
23th Oct 2009 - The unique V shaped rock under the Nuffara Bronze Age village. Next to this V shaped rock there are ritualistic throughs. |
23th Oct 2009 - Gozo Hawthown Berries. The Gozo Hawthorn is not a common shrub. Its berries are delicious and taste a little bit like apples although they have their own taste. They make an excellent juice to mix with schnapps or other drinks. The hawthorn is good for the heart since it relaxes the blood vessel walls. |

06th Oct 2009 - The magical chapel of San Dimitri in Gharb which is built on an ancient temple. This chapel has an amazing legend where it says that this young lady Zgugina had a son Mattew. Some variants of the legend say that the son was from a young catholic priest that lived in the area and looked after this chapel in old times. The legend says that the pirates took her son and she begged San Dimitri to bring her son. He came out of the potrait with his white horse and rode to the pirate through Wied il-Mielah. After some time he reached the galley and got her son and return him to Zgugina. She was so happy that for the rest of her life she lighted a candle for San Dimitri. Whoever lights her candle in the chapel she will help in protecting his/her family. |

24th Sep 2009 - These olives are from John's Garden. First he marinates them in salt water for a few days and then puts them in glass bottles with his home made vinegar and hand picked salt. They are so addictive to eat that once to start eating them you cannot stop. |

20th Sep 2009 - Ramla il-Hamra Bay is the main sandy beach of Gozo. In winter it is totally deserted and it is a great place to meditate in the middle of the sand beach listening to the gentle waves rolling onto the orange sandy beach. |
